Because Webcomics, creatures of quick-fire, short-burstings of comedy and adventure with no real long term commitment, are popular and funny, and fan fiction stories, beings of shit but with familiarity, are infecting the internet like a series of ads that tell me i need to get it up bigger and harder than before and only they can help me with this. Both exist, so it stands to Perfect Logical Sense that a webnovel: a cataclysm of long winded, thought provoking time consuming escapades featuring original characters that you don’t know and certainly don’t love, should be just as successful.

Even if this somehow was true and not the delusional fantasy that I dream will get me oddles of cash, the long winded meandering sentence above, mixed with a failure of wit and a long drag of mock humility will certainly kill off any entertainment that’s to be had here. Mix that in with a fond desire to be highly successful in the ‘writing shit for shit’ industry and worrying so much about this that it actually creeps into the thoughts of the characters like that bad spell they had on Naruto once where the boy ninja and his pink haired whore were actually talking to the screen saying stuff like ‘this is bound to get our ratings back up’ when they knew perfectly well it was because their contracts required to keep making shows up to and well after the juice had been fully squeezed out of their ramen infested carcasses. I’m not sure if i had a point with that sentence.
